The value in this video is overwhelming. Thank you for this. I do have one question. Would you say that successful method acting, is somewhat dependent on a writers' ability to illustrate and describe characters? Or would you say its more a function of an actors creativity and imagination. Fairuza KILLED it in this movie. she is so under rated.

How can no one talk about the fact that when she screams HE'S SORRY. it's a phisical rappresentation of the stories about witches screaming with pain while getting angrier and angrier to their victims. It's 100% perfect. Had the biggest crush on her growing up. she us beautiful. I thought that guy was so smokin hot back in the day. I'm interested in the positive and negative effects of chocolate. The tryptophan and caffeine in dark chocolate makes me tired. I typed in Youtube the truth about chocolate and saw lots of videos about the horrendous exploitation of people in Africa working in the chocolate industry. Companies like Nestlé, Mars, Cadbury etc who exploit human life without a thought, and the consumers in the West who are oblivious to it or simply don't care. After seeing images of child labour and exploited cocoa farmers I feel outraged and sick. Chocolate equals exploitation and it is unacceptable and needs to change.

Fairuza Balk- as the leader of a group of teen witches- is such a commanding presence, it makes no sense for the filmmakers to try and pass her off as a high school misfit. She would have the kids at her beck and call, whether they liked it or not. Alas, her character is given supernatural powers and naturally she goes over-the-edge. I wanted to see this movie go in a different direction: watching this girl overcome her odds WITHOUT the witch-y powers. This is a formula thriller with no interest in character content or a plot that makes any sense. Its aim is to introduce several characters and quickly have them turn on each other, thus setting the stage for a special effects-induced showdown. Rather a waste, especially since the cast is so strong and the technical aspects so gripping. You come away from "The Craft" without much to chew on, except what went wrong and what possibilities were missed. from.
